Baldwin-Terry Wedding

To anyone who is considering Courtney Blair Event Planning:
I highly recommend them! My name is Shannon Terry, and my wedding was on February 14th of 2010. Like most brides, I had a vision of what I wanted for my wedding and had almost everything picked out and planned for months. But the closer our big day came, the more I realized how many things I hadn't thought about, like who would set up the decor at the church, since we were only allowed in the church after a certain time, and during that time I would be getting my hair and makeup done at my hotel. My husband is in the wedding industry and had worked with Courtney before, so when I told him I was going to need some help, he knew just who to call. We hired Courtney and it was the best decision of the over all wedding planning process. I honestly don't know how I would have done it without her!

Courtney herself is a very sweet, caring, classy, soft spoken and polite person, personally. Professionally, she is organized, tactful, efficient, and down-to-business.

Courtney was in constant contact with me, taking detailed notes on what I wanted, and what my vision was. She was very good at staying in contact through phone calls and emails, going over check lists of things that still needed to be done and she coordinated details with all of my vendors. She handled everything I needed and stayed calm even during stressful moments. Her ability to think quickly solved the couple of surprise issues that came up along the way and she totally saved the day! Not only that but she thought of everything and was so helpful... she even brought my bridal party snacks, juice and waters and reminded us to get plenty of rest the night before and to stay hydrated! :)

But the best thing over all was how my wedding turned out. I wasn't able to see the ceremony site until I was walking down the aisle, the only thing I could do was verbally explain how I wanted everything set up and Courtney nailed it. It turned out better then I could have done myself. It was so beautiful, and I was thrilled! The wedding reception was at a different venue so Courtney had to set everything up there and the poor thing was running around from place to place, picking up my flowers and decor and setting it all up before the guests arrived. She did an amazing job and again, everything turned out better then I could have ever dreamed or imagined. She really listens to what you want an takes your vision and goes beyond your expectations!

I know that I definitely couldn't do her job, she was running around non-stop for a few days before my wedding and stayed till after it was all said and done, helping to pack everything up and to ensure all of my special things like the guest book, toasting flutes etc were returned safely to me. She really takes the "stress" part out of the equation for you so that you just get to relax and enjoy the happy time. If I had it to do all over again I would hire her again, and I will recommend Courtney Blair Event Planning to everyone I know!
