Tirado Wedding

To Whom It May Concern,
I wanted to write this letter to you in honor of my wonderful wedding coordinator Courtney Pearce. My husband and I were married this past November 2009 in the beautiful Sonoma Wine country of California, and thanks to Courtney, we had a fantastic experience!!

I met Courtney the day that I found my wedding dress. She was the wonderful woman that assisted me during my fitting. From the very beginning she was patient and kind, always assuring me that she would work with me until I found the perfect gown. And she stayed true to her word! She was so full of great ideas for decorations and arrangements, that I asked her if she would be interested in helping me to plan my wedding. When I found out she was a Wedding Coordinator I hired her straight away!

During the months preceeding the wedding, we encountered several obstacles in the planning process. First, my husband and I had planned for a large destination wedding (250+ people). Courtney took this in stride, and arranged trips to the venue site for planning. Second, Courtney had to relocate out of state during the middle of the planning process!! Again, a seamless transition as she completed all appropriate tasks from afar. She even flew back from Texas and stayed locally (away from her family) for the month leading up to the wedding. I was so very impressed at her level of commitment to her word and to my wedding. Finally, the venue for our ceremony/reception cancelled us 5 weeks before the event! Courtney tirelessly searched and secured a new location for our reception and finessed the original venue to allow us to host our ceremony as initially agreed. What a life saver!

In all, Courtney assisted me in so many big and small ways...

General planning assistance: Courtney essentially planned all aspects of our wedding and reception to include the larger pieces of flowers, food, venue, caterering, decoration, etc. However, she also took on the tedious task of addressing every single one of my 350+ invitations! She was attentive to every detail.

Emotional support: Any person that has undertaken the task of planning a large event, let alone the exciting and emotionally-laden event of a wedding, knows how stressful it can be. Courtney was available to me for every worry, stress, question and concern. She helped me navigate complicated family situations. She helped me find meaningful ways to involve my children during the planning and in the ceremony and reception. She really did so much toward making the planning fun and non-stressful.

Budgeting assistance: Courtney kept me on track financially. I gave her my budget at the beginning of the planning process and she kept the finances in order. She was willing to take the hard line as needed to keep us on track!

At the end of all the planning, a dream wedding emerged! Friends and family still rave about how beautiful our wedding and reception were. We had a perfect day, and we enjoyed every piece of it! We will always be grateful to Courtney Pearce for all of her hard work and support!!
